Directions for Measuring Shoes
You'll need a measuring tape to begin. Remember to keep it snug and straight while you're using it - to get a more accurate fit.
A. Length - Place foot on a piece of paper and mark the toe's and heel's outermost points with a pen or pencil. Measure the distance between the two points. Subtract 1/8" to compensate for the thickness of the pen or pencil.
B. Ball - Place a measuring tape over the ball joint on the inside of the foot. Pull firmly "not too tight" across on a slightly backward angle to the ball joint of the little toe.
C. Instep - Place the measuring tape over the instep bone and straight around the bone on the outside of the foot. |
